This book is a labor of love. Virtually hundreds of horse breeds are described and illustrated. Most of the descriptions provide historical information about the development of the particular breed. Ever heard of the Baikal? or the blood sweater? or the Yushu? If you want to know about these and other obscure breeds or more well-known ones, this book is for you.
